Dembow Freestyle Trend: The Viral Madrid Freestyle, Explained

Updated October 11, 2026

What the Trend Is

For days, feeds have shown the same doorway: a performer in front of a restaurant, a portable speaker playing a dembow beat, a crowd reacting — but the person freestyling keeps changing. People are using AI to swap footballers, pets, cartoon characters, politicians and themselves into a viral street freestyle filmed in Madrid.

This page explains where the clip came from, how the AI remixes took over, and how to make your own version.

The Original Clip

On October 2, 2026, Colombian creator Kevin Wai (TikTok @kevincitooficial11, often searched as "Kevin Way") stopped Dominican dembow artist Bulin 47 — real name Hancel Teodoro Vargas Reynoso — outside a restaurant in Madrid, holding a portable speaker playing a dembow beat.

Bulin 47 answered with an improvised freestyle and a short dance. Both posted the clip the same day.

How It Spread

DateWhat happened
Oct 2Kevin Wai films the improvised freestyle outside a Madrid restaurant; both post the clip the same day.
~Oct 6AI remakes start spreading — the clip, crowd and audio stay, only the performer is swapped. Footballers are among the most shared versions.
Oct 7Dominican newspaper Listín Diario reports the clip passed 50 million views across the internet.
Oct 8MARCA reports both the 50 million figure and other outlets' count of 65 million+ views on Instagram for the original post. The same day, Bulin 47 and Kevin Wai release the single "Dame Hombro" with an official music video.

The Line Everyone Repeats

«No ando en película ni ando en paquete, ya todos me conocen, soy Bulin 47»

— the improvised line from the freestyle, as quoted by Latination.

Why It Remixes So Well

A few things make this clip ideal for AI recasts:

  • One performer facing the camera most of the time — easy for a face swap to track.
  • Short and self-contained — the whole moment fits in seconds.
  • A real, unscripted moment — the crowd's reaction is part of the show.
  • A punchline everyone recognizes — the self-introduction line that closes it.

How the AI Wave Works

Most remakes keep the doorway, the crowd, the dembow beat and the original audio, and swap only the performer. From around October 6, AI versions spread, with footballers among the most shared: MARCA's coverage names Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Haaland, and Latination also mentions Mbappé.

After the footballers came pets, cartoon characters and politicians — the format works with almost any face or body.

How to Join In

The easiest way is a purpose-built tool: upload one photo and the swap does the rest — no editing, no reference hunting.

Posting Responsibly

Mark AI videos as AI-generated when the platform asks, only use photos of yourself or of people who agreed, don't use celebrities or other real people without permission — and never photos of minors.
